What is therapy?
Are you feeling depressed? Anxious? Feel like you’re just struggling to get through the day? Are relationships particularly difficult right now? Is family life just too much to handle at times?
Life can be a difficult journey. In our fast paced society we need a safe space to slow down and really be heard, so we can heal. Feeling isolated, depressed, anxious or unable to face daily challenges is normal, but finding ways to handle the stress or difficult feelings when they become overwhelming can make the day to day easier and bring about more success and happiness in your life. Sometimes it's stress within a relationship (dating, marriage, parenting, family) that can really throw us off our game. Sometimes work is overwhelming. Sometimes everything seems to get us down.
Therapy is an excellent option to help build confidence, change patterns and to repair the hurt from past experiences. My ideal client is ready for change. They have had enough of feeling stuck. I work well with adults, parents, teens, LGBTQ+, parents of children with different needs, people dealing with anxiety or depression, people feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns and couples. I, also, love working with other therapists! I have a long history with working with the ND community (autistics and ADHDers).
Therapy is a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions that might not be explored otherwise. A place to grow and a place to grieve. A strong therapeutic bond can be a powerful relationship in which you can learn more about yourself, your potential and the inner workings of your relationships.
I offer a safe space to be heard with empathy and compassion. I strive to empower my clients on their journey in order to be able to navigate life's difficult turns independently. I care deeply for the work I do and hope to make therapy a productive place to grow and become unstuck in your embedded ways.
